We went up for cocktails at sunset and as it was setting they raised the blinds so we got the view of the Empire State - totally breath-taking. Our time slot for going to the top was about an hour later so we got to see the sun set over Manhattan and see it all lit up later. The room with samples of all kinds of volcanic rock and dust is great, with hands on access to samples and clear After watching 45 min movies about volcano eruption on the Vestmann islands and general volcanic activity in Iceland, visit their restaurant that serves great fish and chips.
It's affordable by Icela Had such a good meal here that we returned 2 nights later and also popped into see the film on volcanoes.
