We hadn't a clue that this exists under Place Royale in Brussels. When you visit it use the free wifi app or take an audio guide! Incredible to see that this palace has existed in Brussels. This is actually a very large site; go in via the Musee Belvue and come out behind the Museum of Musical Instruments on the other side of the road.
Mainly this is the basements of the old palace and the road between the two sections. At one point you're on the surface of the old road between the two parts and can hear the trams going overhead since the current road is on the same line. There is a small museum of stuff at the end but mostly it's exploring the remains of rooms, storehouses etc.
Not for everyone but I loved it. An interesting place. There are no dramatic sights but instead a reminder of what was hundreds of years ago.
